New Gervasoni released at Maison and Objet
07 February 2017
The collaboration between Gervasoni and Paola Navone has over time been transformed into a beautiful creative complicity. Extremely successful collections have taken life thanks to this precious harmony - including a new family of products created in 2017, which Gervasoni presented during the January edition of Maison & Objet for the very first time.
The new Gervasoni pieces at Maison & Objet
The newest Gervasoni 2017pieces includes a family of sofas, an armchair and a new tabletop in glass that add an unexpected touch to the INOUT collection.
All of them have been designed to furnish outdoor spaces according to different moods and ideas: be this a garden, a veranda or an urban terrace. But they are also perfect indoors, in a house with a young and fresh spirit. The style is of course eclectic and unconventional, typical of Paola Navone. Savoir faire is something that has always been a hallmark of the Gervasoni tradition.
The Gervasoni space designed by Paola Navone tells us about an idea of a home, which is open towards the outdoors and full of light. A house where objects and materials, as well as different inspirations live together naturally, without any clear-cut separation between indoors and outdoors. The colors of the space are clear and natural: white and gray are arrayed in different hues and unexpected textures. The color is given by the fabrics and nuanced hues of natural materials. Wood first of all, then ceramics, stone and woven fibers.
The most external setup - a light and transparent space reminiscent of a veranda or a Mediterranean greenhouse – brings together all the latest pieces of the 2017 collection. A dining area in the middle and two living areas have been put on display in this space, which plays upon white and gray tones.
The star of the dining area is the big INOUT 933 table whose steel frame is combined with the new Stone Dust tabletop for outdoors. Around it the new INOUT 865 chairs in aged teak woven in PVC mixed with other chairs of the collection. On the sides, a living room area, set up with the new sofa in natural kubu rattan has been combined with the woven rattan coffee table of the same family together with the new plump and enveloping outdoor INOUT 419 armchair, upholstered in 3D wood effect fabric. A varied set of different tables in different shapes made of aluminum and ceramics, that are part of the INOUT collection, completes the display.
The second lounge has been designed around the new INOUT family in aged teak. The low INOUT 955 coffee table covered with a turquoise ceramic plate tabletop and on the sides the two new armchairs INOUT 861 and the new essential sofa INOUT 863 with special water-repellent padded cushions, upholstered in outdoor fabric.
