Dixon Opens a Restaurant Alongside his Coal Office
13 September 2018
This restaurant is the final piece in the jigsaw puzzle of Tom Dixon’s new London HQ - with trade counter, office and shop in the heart of Kings Cross. The three-floor dining space has a bar, bakery, outdoor terraces as well as two private dining rooms.
A radical collaboration between acclaimed Chef Assaf Granit and local boy Tom Dixon, the Jerusalem born chef has constructed a menu consists of Middle Eastern and Meditrainen infused dishes. If your find yourself in London this a definite must, expect a culinary journey of discovery.
The aesthetic of the new restaurant was developed by Design Research Studio, the interiors branch of Tom Dixon. Which took cues from the history of the coal yard. Featuring a host of his own designs set against the rough brick, steel and soot-hued surfaces.
Dishes will be served on crockery from Dixon's latest collections, and pieces that have not yet gone into production.
