Lee Broom's Observatory Milan release

05 April 2018

British designer Lee Broom will present a range of outer-space-inspired lighting inside a Grade II-listed building during this year's Milan Design Week. In the build-up to Milan (17 – 22 of Apri), he has released a limited range of product images that showcase in his minimalist collection called Observatory.

Encompassing four different designs, the range focuses solely on lighting this year – an area Broom describes as being fundamental to his studio.

These stellar-inspired designs play with proportions of vertical and horizontal space, they are sculptural and spherical. Investigating the reflection and refraction of light as well as diffusing and dividing a space, forming spatial illusions with light.
