Erica Duthie and Struan Ashby (Tape Art NZ) used only tape to create intricate murals on the walls at ECC. Not only did they create alien life forms, they managed to depict some of ECC's staff members with an uncanny resemblance. It really is amazing what these people can do with simple tape.

ECC &amp; Tape Art NZ collaborated on an intriguing installation for Urbis Design Day 2013, turning one of our spaces into an Alien Maternity Ward/Space Craft/Space Bar. Hundreds of people on the Design Day tour passed through ECC on Saturday 23 March for this wonderful event.
