Parnell House

Linealuce recessed lights were installed above the entry canopy to frame the top of the impressive front door emphasising the height. Woodys were used to highlight the textured concrete on the exterior walls by the BBQ area, which also provided good ambient lighting in this area. The extendable Ninix table and chairs in the BBQ area is prefect for large gatherings.

Other exterior features include the incandescent rope light used on the steps, which is rebated underneath the steps. Inground LS393 uplights were used extensively around the garage entry.

Inside the DDC62220GR spot was mounted on a vertical fascia high up opposite the stairwell wall. By projecting the light from high up across this space ensured that the shadow from people ascending the stairs cast onto the concrete detail is minimised.

Light Shed halogen recessed lights were used in the bathroom ceiling to reflect light onto the mirror surface without interfering with the mirror. They are often used where there is no space for lights on the walls.

A selection of iGuzzini downlights with good optical output were ideal for the mix of ceiling heights as the light output is still good in high ceiling spaces.
