The Skygarden Pendant by Marcel Wanders was inspired by a personal experience of trying to take a piece of his old ceiling when moving to a new home.

This suspension luminaire provides diffused lighting through its hemispherical cast plaster diffuser, which is painted white inside for a soft, warm glow. Ideal for indoor use, the design combines modern lighting with an artistic, almost nostalgic charm, bringing a unique ambiance to any space.

Marcel Wanders

Marcel Wanders graduated cumlaude from the School of the Arts Arnhem in 1988 and in 1995 opened his own studio based in Amsterdam. Marcel Wanders first drew international recognition for his Knotted Chair produced by Droog Design in 1996. In 2001 he co-founded the successful design label Moooi, of which he is the art director.

Marcel Wanders is now ubiquitous, designing for global brands and high end furniture companies such as B&B Italia,Cappellini, Christofle, Bisazza, Poliform, KLM -Royal Dutch Airlines, Flos, Magis, Target, Baccarat and more recently Alessi and Marks & Spencers.
