Bertjan Pot was born in Nieuwleusen, the Netherlands in 1975 and graduated from Man and Identity at the Design Academy Eindhoven in 1998. He is a famous designer who is now living in Rotterdam. When designing he focuses on mainly the production process and materials. He makes great use of the computer with his work and believes that the way a product feels is just as important as the products appearance. He claims all his designs come from
experiments with both new and old materials. While focusing mainly on furniture, his designs boasts an arty edge that pleases not only the eye but holds great value in terms of usefulness.
