Artemide Melampo is a most versatile lighting fixture.

 One would be hard pressed to find another lamp that is as flexible as the Artemide Melampo floor light.While the Artemide Melampo may appear to be an ordinary floor lamp at first sight, the ingenuity becomes apparent with its multiple uses. The lampshade can be put into three different positions with an easy click system, allowing the lamp to take on various roles. When the lampshade is in the standard position, the Melampo floor lamp provides accent lighting that extends outwards towards the floor. Tilted at an angle, the lamp offers zone lighting. When the lampshade is placed upright, the Artemide Melampo transforms into a torchiere lamp. The base and shaft are made of sturdy aluminium. The lampshade is made of a silk and comes in both an aluminium grey and a bronze colour. When the Artemide Melampo is switched on, however, the lampshade glows in a soft, splendid white.
