Based on the concepts of movement, grace and energy, the T Lamp by Marcel Wanders visually reminds us of the fluidity and light motion of Alexander Calder's kinetic mobiles.

This tall and slender floor lamp has found the perfect equilibrium, for it harmoniously moves and rotates in different positions without ever losing its balance. Strongly rooted to the ground, it aims for the sky and gracefully rotates in space, subtly diffusing light where needed, in the desired intensity, thus creating or accentuating a soft and elegant atmosphere all around.

Marcel Wanders

Marcel Wanders graduated cumlaude from the School of the Arts Arnhem in 1988 and in 1995 opened his own studio based in Amsterdam. Marcel Wanders first drew international recognition for his Knotted Chair produced by Droog Design in 1996. In 2001 he co-founded the successful design label Moooi, of which he is the art director.

Marcel Wanders is now ubiquitous, designing for global brands and high end furniture companies such as B&B Italia,Cappellini, Christofle, Bisazza, Poliform, KLM -Royal Dutch Airlines, Flos, Magis, Target, Baccarat and more recently Alessi and Marks & Spencers.
