Future Island Exhibition Sponsored by ECC

The New Zealand installation at the Venice Architecture Biennale is proudly supported by the belief at ECC that our amazing architecture should sit on the world stage. In addition to our Bronze sponsorship, ECC lit the whole exhibition with product from Flos Architectural.

Future Islands – just New Zealand’s second national exhibition at a Venice Architecture Biennale – is lyrical and evocative. By presenting New Zealand architecture as a grouping of metaphorical islands, an imagined archipelago encompassing a variety of approaches and responses to the fluid and uncertain conditions of contemporary practice, it establishes New Zealand as innovative, creative, forward-thinking and bold.

ECC also provided the Flos classic table lamp, Taccia, for the New Zealand Room Te Koha at the exhibition.
