The second edition of the Festival of Lights Ghent, embraced the theme of "Happiness and Music"
From January 26 to January 29 2012, the Belgian city of Ghent hosted the awe-inspiring festival which last year drew no less than 200,000 spectators from Belgium and abroad.
Those who attended the 2011 festival will remember the Old Post Office building being transformed into a fairy tale with dancing monkeys, brushstrokes and a building stirred to life. Equally amazing were the playful luminous ducks on the water, a flower field of lights, the burning belfry tower and the experimental light shows along a 5km walking route full of light.
