Chair One, designed by Konstantin Grcic for Magis, is an innovative indoor and outdoor chair crafted from die-cast aluminium.

Its geometric shell design, inspired by a soccer ball, combines strength with visual uniqueness. Available in polished, fluorinated titanium-treated, or painted finishes, the chair suits a variety of settings. Chair One is offered in two versions: a stackable model with aluminium profile legs, and a fixed or swivel option with a transparent-painted cement base, showcasing a raw, contemporary aesthetic.

Konstantin Grcic

Grcic was born in Minich 1965. He trained as a cabinet maker at The John Makepeace School (Dorset, England) before studying Design at the Royal College of Art in London. Since setting up his own practice Konstantin Grcic Industrial Design (KGID) in Munich in 1991, he has developed furniture, products and lighting for some of the leading companies in the design field. Amongst his renowned clients are Authentics, BD Ediciones, ClassiCon, Flos, Flötotto, Laufen, Magis, Mattiazzi, Muji, Nespresso, Plank, Serafino Zani, Thomas-Rosenthal and Vitra.
