New Britomart restaurant Amano is the latest addition to the culinary delights offered by Hipgroup. Remaining true to their belief in provenance and sharing only seasonal, sustainable and local produce from New Zealand growers and farmers, Amano offers rustic, Italian-inspired fare in a space where you can relax and feel connected to your food and its origin.

Marcel Chair by Ritzwell, with its mid-century aesthetic that belies it's Japanese origins, is an elegant addition to the interior. The form utliises modern woodworking technology, and is hand crafted by experienced designers who truly understand wood and its characteristics. Distinguished by the curved backrest, solid walnut frame and leather upholstery, Marcel holds timeless appeal.

The French duo Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec bring their paired-back look in the form of the Pila Chair they designed for Magis. Pila has four very thin sticks in solid wood, which are kept together by an almost invisible structure in die-cast aluminium.

Together these two chairs contribute to the rustic, Italian atmosphere of the restaurant.
