Richard Ferrer

Ricard Ferrer was born in Barcelona in 1968 and has been working as an Industrial designer since 1992. Specialising in furnishing, lighting, sanitation and bathroom accessory projects. He works in different sectors such as products, publicity, and construction items.

Some of his main clients are: Cosmic, Bath Time, Metalarte, Roca, Matias Guarro, Andreu World, Joquer, Sancal, Bassat Ogilvy & Matter, his products were nominated for the ADI-FAD Awards in 1995 and 1997, he was awarded first prize in the Expohogar Design Competition in 2001 and 2003, runner up in the Feria de Valencia Competition in 1997 and he was a finalist in the Cetem Furniture Design Competition in 2002.

He designs sets, such as that used for Droog Designs exhibition in the Vinon room and the presentationof Bonbn Puf de Carles Riart for Joquer. He has participated in exhibitions such as Objectar memriaI creaci (2003) and Objetos (1999). He teaches undergraduate courses and Technical Engineeringin Industrial Design at the Elisiva School of Advanced Design in Barcelona.
