Bertrand Lejoly was influenced from a very early age by the Belgian, German and French cultures. In 2013 he became Head of
Product Design with the Belgian architect Vincent Van Duysen. In 2018 Bertrand Lejoly founded his own design studio in Antwerp. Since then, he has been working together with several brands on furniture, lighting, sanitary ware and tableware. The designer describes his style as ‘refined simplicity’. His objects walk the boundary between an expressive yet subtle design language. He especially likes to play with elements that are engraved in the collective memory to create timeless items for everyday use
