For one of his products to be labeled “fine craftsmanship” is the “biggest compliment” for Dick Van Hoff. He stresses, though, that he is not interested in “perfection.” His products are simply made, usually of rough materials. The floor lamp he designed for Functionals is a striking example: it has bold lines and is made of durable powder-coated steel.

Swivel Floor is made of a 5 mm massive steel frame and base. The base is weight by a concrete base in three parts. The steel is powder-coated in black. The movable shade is available in black and white linen.
