iGuzzini

Italy

Light is technology, but at the same time culture, thoughts, emotions.

iGuzzini was established in 1958 and produces today indoor and outdoor lighting fixtures. It is the Italian leader in technical and architectural lighting and ranks amongst the leading companies in Europe.

The iGuzzini company mission is not limited to the manufacturing of top-quality lighting fixtures: it is also to study and understand light, make the others understand it and improve the integration between light and architecture through industrial design.

To this end some of the most famous lighting designers and architects in the world have co-operated with iGuzzini starting from its earlier years: Giò Ponti, Rodolfo Bonetto, Bruno Gecchelin, Renzo Piano, Richard Rogers, Norman Foster, Gae Aulenti, Piero Castiglioni, Jean Michel Wilmotte, just to mention some of them. They also consult with numerous investigators, doctors, sociologists and physicists from the most important research institutes to encompass all aspects that relate to the quality of light.

iGuzzini projects includes some of the most iconic buildings and public spaces in the world. Some recent examples are Nevsky Prospect, St Petersburg; National Museum, Beijing; Piazza Duomo, Florence; and Leicester Square, London.

Better Light for a Better Life.
